摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine for preventing the deterioration in startability, by setting an increased fuel injection quantity at the same quantity or reducing the quantity for each of ignition order, by stopping control for increasing the quantity for each of ignition order of a fuel injection quantity of fuel injected into respective cylinders in the first one cycle when starting an engine, when the fuel is a high concentration alcohol fuel. SOLUTION: When determined to be a high-concentration alcohol by an alcohol concentration detecting sensor, the fuel injection quantity corresponding to the alcohol concentration is set, and fuel injection quantity increase control for increasing the fuel injection quantity of the fuel successively injected into the respective cylinders in the first one cycle of fuel injection when starting the engine so as to increase for each of ignition order, is stopped, and the increased fuel injection quantity is set in the same quantity for each of ignition order. The fuel corresponding to the alcohol concentration of the fuel can be injected, and a fuel quantity flowing in the cylinders is increased in response to an increase in an intake flow speed by an increase in an engine speed, and the fuel injection quantity adjusted to an increase in the inflow fuel quantity is set, and the deterioration in startability of the engine is prevented.
