<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an α-glucosidase inhibitor containing an extract of Ume (Japanese apricot) as an active ingredient. <P>SOLUTION: The α-glucosidase inhibitor contains the extract of the Ume as the active ingredient.
