PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkoxylation catalyst enhanced in its catalytic activity without altering the baking condition and composition of a compound metal oxide. SOLUTION: The surface of a magnesium/aluminum compound oxide catalyst is treated with at least one kind of a coupling agent among a titanate type coupling agent and an aluminum type coupling agent. |
