PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display panel capable of increasing reading accuracy of information pattern.SOLUTION: In a display panel 24, each of plural information patterns representing a piece of information concerning a position in a display area is formed by using plural marks 42 which are disposed around a grid point of a grid formed using plural virtual reference lines 44 as a virtual reference point. The plural marks include a first mark 42a disposed at the one side in an object direction perpendicular to the virtual reference line from a virtual reference point 60a and a second mark 42b disposed at the other side in an object direction from a virtual reference point 60b. Defining the pitch of the virtual reference lines as P; the width of a black line 31a as W; the width of the first mark and the second mark in the object direction as D1 and D2; and the distance in the object direction from the center position of the first mark and the second mark to the virtual reference point as S1 and S2, a relational expression of P>W+D1/2+D2/2+S1+S2 is satisfied.
