FERRITE STAINLESS STEEL HAVING EXCELLENT FORMABILITY AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

The present invention relates to a ferrite stainless steel having excellent formability and a manufacturing method thereof and, more specifically, relates to a new ferrite stainless steel and a manufacturing method thereof in which workability of ferrite stainless steel is improved; which was difficult to be used for an application where a high level of formability is required due to an inferior workability when compared to an austenite stainless steel. According to one aspect of the present invention, the ferrite stainless steel has more than 20% of crystal grains with a face direction parallel to a rolling face of {111}, and more than 10% of crystal grains with a face direction parallel to the rolling face of {112}; provided that a percentage of each crystal grain means a value measured using an electron back scattering pattern (EBSP).
