1. A magnetic field sensor, comprising:
one or more magnetic field sensing elements configured to generate a magnetic field signal responsive to a magnetic field; a measured threshold module coupled to receive at least one of a positive peak signal having a plurality of positive peak values or a negative peak signal having a plurality of negative peak values, the plurality of positive peak values representative of different respective positive peaks of the magnetic field signal and the plurality of negative peak values representative of different respective negative peaks of the magnetic field signal, wherein the measured threshold module is configured to use at least one of the plurality of positive peak values and/or at least one of the plurality of negative peak values to generate a measured threshold value; a non-volatile memory device configured to store, at a storage time, the measured threshold value; and a comparison circuit coupled to receive, from the memory device, at a receipt time after the storage time, a comparison circuit threshold value corresponding to the stored measured threshold value, and also coupled to receive a signal representative of the magnetic field signal, the comparison circuit coupled to receive the stored measured threshold value without combining a temperature coefficient with the stored measured threshold value, wherein the comparator detector is configured to compare the comparison circuit threshold value with the signal representative of the magnetic field signal to generate a comparison circuit output signal.
