An application data generation method and apparatus. The method comprises: generating a group of random samples satisfying normal distribution (201); selecting N random samples according to an order from the two ends to the center of the normal distribution, so as to allow the sum of values of the finally selected N random samples to be M, wherein N is an expected total quantity of pieces of the application data, M is an expected total of values of the application data, and an average value of the normal distribution is M/N (202); generating N pieces of application data by using the values of the selected N random samples as the values of the application data, wherein when the quantity of the generated random samples decreases, the values of the application data become more uniform, and when the quantity of the generated random samples increases, the values of the application data become more irregular (203). The problem of degraded use experience of a user caused by the uncontrollability of values of application data in the prior art is solved. |
