PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent paper high in transparency, excellent in dimensional stability to temperature change and hardly generating unevenness even with temperature change.SOLUTION: The transparent paper is a transparent paper having opacity defined in JIS P8138 of 20% or less, contains pulp having predetermined irregular freeness of 100 to 600 ml, colloidal silica having average particle diameter of 30 nm or less and an aqueous resin consisting of at least one of a water soluble resin and a water dispersible resin. In the transparent paper, percentage content of the colloidal silica is 1.0 to 30 mass%, B type viscosity at 25°C defined in JIS Z8803-1 at concentration the aqueous resin of 10 mass% is 35 mPa s or less, and percentage content of the aqueous resin is 0.1 to 50 mass%.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
