PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fusing method which can generate differential gloss in a desired position of a toner image formed on a substrate.SOLUTION: A substrate 201 with a toner image formed is heated with a pre-heat device 205 such as a heat roller system or the like to a temperature close to the melting point of the toner. Subsequently, a desired position of the toner image is selectively exposed by using a laser fuser 207 to generate a differential gloss image. |
