PURPOSE: An electronic lottery service system using a communication network and a method of the same are provided for conveniently buying a lottery at any place using a wired/wireless telephone network or the internet. CONSTITUTION: An electronic lottery service system includes a terminal(10), a communication company(telephone office)(20), a lottery managing server(40), a lottery database(50), a message service server(60) and a financial organ server(70). The terminal(10) is connected with an electronic lottery service system according to the present invention and is a wired telephone set, a mobile telephone and a PC. A customer is connected with an electronic lottery service in the wired/wireless telephone communication network or internet using the terminal(10).
