The cooling device is provided with a refrigerant feeding mechanism 6 which supplies cooling water to a refrigerant flow channel at the inside of the heat sink 3. The cooling device is provided with a controller 7 which controls the supply amount of a cooling liquid to the refrigerant flow channel from the refrigerant feeding mechanism 6 based on signals 4s, 5s from the respective sensors 4, 5 and based on data on a saturated steam amount, Whether the temperature of the stack 2 is close to a dew-condensation generation value or not is judged by the controller 7, The opening of a flow regulating valve 11 in a conduit line 12 which supplies the cooling fluid to the refrigerant flow channel is adjusted, and the dew condensation caused by the cooling of the laser diode bars 1 is suppressed.
