PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new compound which has sufficient fastness to light, heat, moisture and environmental active gas; a coloring composition using the same, especially an ink-jet recording ink which enables to form an image having high fastness to light and an environmental ozone gas; and an ink-jet recording method. SOLUTION: The compound is a phthalocyanine compound represented by formula (I), [wherein R1 to R8 are each H, a halogen an optionally substituted alkyl or aryl group or the like, W1 to W4 are each a nitrogen-containing heteroring or the like, l, m, n, and p are each an integer of 1-2, and M is H or a metallic element such as Cu]. The coloring composition, the ink-jet recording ink and the ink-jet recording method use the compound. |
