PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely remove a precipitated solution stuck to the bottom surface of an ink-jet head. SOLUTION: A ring member 8 which surrounds a nozzle plate 13 from the outside and has almost the same plane as the bottom surface (the tip surface) of the nozzle plate 13 is fit freely detachably to the head 1 by a magnet 8a. Even when the solution is spread along the bottom surface of the nozzle plate and dried, if the ring member 8 is exchanged, a precipitate to be generated when the solution is evaporated/dried can be removed.
