PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension device capable of quickly switching disconnection/connection of a stabilizer. SOLUTION: This suspension device is provided with the stabilizer for connecting right and left suspensions, a clutch provided in the middle part of the extending direction of the stabilizer to connect/disconnect transmission of torque from one wheel to the other wheel, and a vehicle height adjusting device capable of individually adjusting upper and lower stroke amount of each suspension. When it is decided that a condition for switching a characteristic of the stabilizer is satisfied, at least one of the right and left suspensions is stroked in a direction for eliminating a stroke difference of the right and left suspensions by the vehicle height adjusting means to switch the characteristic of the stabilizer.
