PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method and apparatus by which drinking water comprising plant-derived mineral water regarded as having effect of activating human body functions and of purifying blood can be always obtained. SOLUTION: Water after passing through a reverse osmosis membrane is brought into contact with sintered ceramics containing a powder of humic shale (ancient plant-derived sedimentary rock). Desirably, water after passing through a reverse osmosis membrane is brought into contact with sintered ceramics containing a powder of humic shale, sintered ceramics containing a far-infrared radiating material, and sintered ceramics containing a minus ion radiating material. As the powder of humic shale, a powder of residues obtained after eluting a part of plant-derived mineral contained in it with cold water can be used. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
