PURPOSE: A shift lock device of a shift lever is provided to improve package properties of a device and mounting properties to a vehicle and to diminish complexity of the device by simplifying the configuration of the device. CONSTITUTION: A shift lock device of a shift lever comprises a lock pivot axis(1), a lock block(3), and a driving unit. The lock pivot axis is arranged in shifting patterns in a parallel with a direction to restrict the movement of a shift lever(5). The lock block is integrally equipped in the lock pivot axis and is protruded from a gap between points in which the shift lever is positioned in the shifting patterns. The driving unit comprises a rectilinear actuator(7) and a cam mechanism(9). The rectilinear actuator generates linear displacement to be parallel with the lock pivot axis. The cam mechanism converts the linear displacement by the rectilinear actuator into the rotation movement of the lock pivot axis. |
