PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly practical fraudulent wave detector for a game machine that can detect waves by distinguishing a fraudulent wave that causes malfunction of a game machine from other waves such as for taxi radio or cellular phones.SOLUTION: A fraudulent wave detector 10 for a game machine includes: an antenna 12; a detector circuit 14 that outputs a signal containing a high level part and a low level part corresponding to waves; and determination means 16 that determines whether a radio wave is a fraudulent wave or not in accordance with the output signal from the detector circuit 14 and decision conditions. The determination means 16 comprises: a timing unit for measuring time; a frequency measuring unit 24 for measuring a number of times the high level part and the low level part of the output signal from the detector circuit are alternately repeated; and a comparison determination unit 26 that compares the number of repetitions measured by the frequency measuring part with a reference value and determines that a radio wave is a fraudulent wave when the number of repetitions N is equal to or above the reference value. |
