PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker capable of maintaining stable cutoff characteristics regardless of variation in peripheral temperature even if the circuit breaker is configured to detect an overcurrent using bimetal.SOLUTION: A first bimetallic piece 6 arranged on an electric path L detects an overcurrent flowing through the electric path L, and an engaging part in which the first bimetallic piece 6 thermally deformed by the overcurrent engages is formed of a second bimetallic piece 7a. The first bimetallic piece 6 and the second bimetallic piece 7a are arranged so as to be opposed to each other, and the second bimetallic piece 7a is arranged so as to be thermally deformed in a direction same as that of the first bimetallic piece 6. |
