PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a silver powder where the silver powder can be applied to electrolysis as a raw material as it is, and the atomization of the silver powder can be attained as well. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the silver powder, a raw material silver powder having an impurity content of≤5% is stored into a raw material storage body composed of a material which is insoluble in an electrolytic solution, and through which silver ions can pass, and the raw material silver powder held into the raw material storage body is electrolyzed in a state of being brought into contact with an anode electrode composed of an insoluble electrode (DSE).
