PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nanoparticle, in an aqueous solution, of a concentration similar to concentration of the nanoparticle in the synthesis in an organic solution, without no restrictions from a viewpoint of the use of the nanoparticle in future. SOLUTION: This nanoparticle contains a hydrophobic component Y(12), a hydrophilic component X(16) and an organic molecular component Z(14). The phase transfer method is to transfer an inorganic colloidal particle from an organic phase to a water phase or an alcohol phase which is immissible with the organic phase, using a phase transfer catalyst bonding the component X and the component Y together. The hydrophobic component Y(12) contains a thiol group and the hydrophilic component X(16) contains a carboxyl group.
