PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve creation of coating that is patterned on a glass ceramic substrate such that even more flexibility is obtained in patterning.SOLUTION: Coating which at least partially blocks light in a visible spectral range is provided for a glass ceramic member 1, and the glass ceramic member 1 is irradiated with pulse laser beam such that the coating 5 is removed by ablation. In performing irradiation, laser beam is oriented on a surface of the glass ceramic member 1 such that a part of the coating 1 is removed, and after the coating 5 is removed, the glass ceramic is irradiated with the same laser 7 in a removed region to visually change the glass ceramic in the irradiated region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
