PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial-ply tire for aircraft equipped with an enhanced resistance against peeling-off between a belt protection layer and a tread while an anti-cut performance to the same degree as Aramid cords is secured. SOLUTION: The belt protection layer of this pneumatic radial-ply tire for aircraft is formed from organic fiber cords consisting of polyketone fiber which meets the formulae (I):σ≥-0.01E+1.2 and a formula (II):σ≥0.02. In the formulae,σis the thermal contraction stress in cN/dtex at 177°C, and E is the modulus of elasticity in cN/dtex at a load of 49 cN, at 25°C. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
