PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems wherein a blind spot may occur depending on the mounting position of a camera in a conventional device capable of displaying an image from the camera mounted backward in a vehicle to confirm the rear when parking the vehicle, and further the sense of distance cannot be grasped from the rear image precisely and easily. SOLUTION: In on-vehicle equipment, the photography direction of an on-vehicle camera is controlled so that an image in a mirror provided outside the vehicle can be photographed. When the mirror provided outside the vehicle has a prescribed marker, the position information of the marker is acquired, and the direction is controlled based on the marker position information.
