PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ac adapter capable of securing sufficient reliability by enhancing operability, smoothness, and stability when operating a power supply plug part while also preventing backlash caused by using it for a long time from being produced, and by avoiding such malfunction that a pin connection part is not brought into contact with a brush connection part. SOLUTION: A pair of the pin connection parts 6a, 6b each conducting to a pair of blade parts 5a, 5b are provided in the power supply plug part 4 by making them project on both sides of the rotation shaft part 7 of the power supply plug part 4, brush connection parts 8a, 8b capable of making contact with the peripheral surfaces of respective pin connection parts 6a, 6b are provided in an adapter body part 3, and a click mechanism part 9 capable of stopping the power supply plug part 4 at the usage position Xs or at the storage position Xr is provided on the rotation shaft 7.
