PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high pressure pump which improves driving performance of an electromagnetic driving part for controlling ejection amount.SOLUTION: A valve member 40 seats and unseats a valve seat 34 of a valve body 30 disposed on a fuel passage 100, and intercepts and allows fuel flow on the fuel passage 100. A stopper 50 comes into contact with a valve member 40 and regulates the movement to the valve opening direction. One edge of a first spring 21 is locked to the valve member 40, the other edge thereof is brought into contact with a second spring seat 56 disposed on the stopper 50 and the valve member 40 is energized in the valve closing direction. The stopper 50 includes a contact part which comes into contact with the valve member 40, a second recessed part 57 which is recessed on the opposite side to the valve member on the diameter inner side of the contact part and a second spring seat 56 which is recessed on the opposite side to the valve member 40 on the diameter inner side of the second recessed part 57. An outer margin of the second recessed part 57 is located on the diameter outer side than the outer circumferential surface of the first spring 21. |
