PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating body for tsunami evacuation which is not inundated with a tsunami, a typhoon or a tidal wave and to provide a construction method for the same.SOLUTION: A floating body is placed on a reinforced concrete foundation. A plurality of chains extended from the floating body placed on the reinforced concrete foundation are connected to anchors integrated with the reinforced concrete foundation. The floating body is provided with windlasses 30 at locations corresponding to the plurality of chains. The floating body is navigated by controlling winding off or rewinding operation of the chains so that the same can keep distances from debris of damaged building floating on water and a fixed obstacle such as a building and return onto the original reinforced concrete foundation when a tsunami recedes. The reinforced concrete foundation also has maintenance passages where jacks are installed. The jacks in the maintenance passages elevate the floating body in synchronization with each other for providing a bottom section of the floating body with a surface treatment. |
