PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape cutter which is excellent in safety and allows sure and good peeling-off of a cut adhesive tape from a cutter blade.SOLUTION: In a tape cutter which is provided with a cutter blade 4 for cutting an adhesive tape 3a pulled out from an adhesive tape roll 3, guide grooves 1d or guide holes, which support a holder 2 rotatably and movably in a direction separating from the cutter blade 4, are formed in both side walls 1a facing a case body 1 so as to be inclined downward to other ends of the case body 1, both end parts of a support shaft 2a provided in the central part of the holder 2 are inserted into the guide grooves 1d or guide holes, so that the holder 2 and the adhesive tape roll 3 are moved in the direction separating from the cutter blade 4 by their self-weight, and a tape holding mechanism 5 is provided where, after the adhesive tape 3a is cut, the holder 2 and the adhesive tape roll 3 peel off a tip of the adhesive tape 3a from the cutter blade 4 by their self-weight to separate the tip toward the holder 2 side. |
