The present invention relates to an umbrella comprising: a pole provided with a handle at a lower end thereof; an elevating ring which is installed on an upper outer peripheral surface of the pole to be elevated along the pole; a plurality of first umbrella ribs which are disposed in a radial shape along an outer peripheral surface of the elevation ring and hinged therewith; second ribs whose both ends are hinged with the first ribs and the elevation ring; third ribs which are hinged with the first ribs, and provided with a canopy on an outer surface thereof; and a winding unit which is rotated as the elevation ring moves to a lower end of the pole by being interlocked with the elevation ring to wind the canopy by winding a strap formed on the canopy. Accordingly, the canopy is automatically wound while the umbrella is unfolded, so that the umbrella of the present invention is convenient to use by not requiring a user to directly wind the canopy which is wet by rainwater. |
