Provided are an apparatus for converting image data and a display device including the same. Data distortion due to overshoot can be prevented by outputting correction image data generated by a gradual change in overdriving size in the same direction as the moving direction of an object from image data according to the movement level of the object. And, the generation of afterimages or motion blur on the boundary surface of a moving object can be prevented by improving a response speed in a moving image. The apparatus includes a first correction part, a second correction part, and a motion deciding part. |
