PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an inverter that can avoid damage of the inverter by simple control while suppressing unintended retreat of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A control device for an inverter is a control device for controlling the inverter including a first output torque limitation section for limiting output torque of a traveling motor to a first limit value or smaller when a control parameter corresponding to a thermal load of the traveling motor of a vehicle reaches a first control threshold value or larger. The control device includes: a control parameter acquisition section for acquiring the control parameter; and a second output torque limitation section for limiting the output torque to a second limit value larger than the first limit value when the control parameter reaches a value equal to or larger than a second control threshold value that is smaller than the first control threshold value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
