The present invention relates to a method for improving the stability of compositions of a product for internal dehydration of a hydrogenated sugar, in particular an isosorbide composition, said method involving the use of monoethanolamine, diethanolamine, triethanolamine and the mixtures thereof as a stabilisation agent.
