The present invention provides an inflation apparatus for providing limb protection. The apparatus includes: (a) a first portion that is inflatable to form a substantially rigid cylindrical structure around a limb of a person; and (b) a second portion positioned between the first portion and the limb, the second portion being inflatable to cushion the limb and operable to restrict movement of the limb relative to the first portion when both the first and second portions are inflated, to thereby at least partially protect the limb. |
