Provided is a technology to effectively study the culture of cells by mechanically and periodically stimulating cells even ex vivo to offer an in vivo environment. A cell culture apparatus according to a first embodiment of the present invention comprises: a first layer containing an electro-active polymer material and extended in at least one direction by the force applied from the outside; a first fixing part for fixing both ends in an extension direction of the first layer such that the extended state of the first layer is maintained; a second layer containing an electro-active polymer material, formed to be spaced from one surface of the first layer, and extended in at least one direction by the force applied from the outside; a second fixing part for fixing both ends in an extension direction of the second layer such that the extended state of the second layer is maintained; a first electrode part coated on one region of the first layer; and a second electrode part coated on one region of the second layer, wherein the second layer is formed such that cells to be cultured are located between one surface of the first layer and one surface of the second layer in a sandwich structure. |
