Provided is a door control device in which operation involved in a door-opening action is facilitated when a user is holding luggage in both hands. When a foot switch provided to a vehicle is operated in a situation in which authentication information received by the door control device from a communication device has been successfully authenticated, then as long as a door of the vehicle is locked at this point in time, the door control device unlocks the door and then performs a sliding door-opening action. If, at the point in time at which the foot switch provided to the vehicle is operated, the vehicle door is unlocked and the sliding door is closed, the door control device performs a sliding door-opening action, and, if the sliding door is open, performs a sliding door-closing action. |
