PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage battery system which can be used for long hours against a load in the event of a power failure and can temporarily offer a large amount of electricity against a load under normal conditions, thereby coping with many peak shifts.SOLUTION: A storage battery system 1 of the present invention comprises: a secondary battery 38; a storage battery control unit 39 configured to recognize a state of the secondary battery 38 and perform control on the secondary battery 38; a power conditioner 42 configured to perform control of charging and discharging of the secondary battery 38; and a controller 6 as a setting part configured to set parameters relating to charging and discharging of the secondary battery 38. The power conditioner 42 controls discharging of the secondary battery 38 such that a rated output from the secondary battery 38 when a power failure has been detected becomes less than a rated output from the secondary battery 38 when the secondary battery 38 is associated with a system. |
