PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin composition providing a molded article having practically sufficient scratch resistance, excellent transparency and high shock resistance.SOLUTION: There is provided the thermoplastic resin composition which contains 10 to 60 mass% of a graft copolymer (A) and 90 to 40 mass% of a thermoplastic resin containing a polymer containing vinyl cyanide monomer unit (B), and in which: the graft copolymer (A) has a main chain polymer composed of a rubbery polymer and a graft chain graft polymerized to the main chain polymer; the graft chain has a vinyl cyanide monomer unit and one or more monomer unit polymerizable with the vinyl cyanide monomer unit; distribution of percentage content of the vinyl cyanide monomer in a component derived from the graft chain has predetermined three or more peaks; Mw of a component derived from a first peak is over 0 and less than 30000; Mw of a component derived from a second peak is over 30000 and less than 200000; and Mw of a component derived from a third peak is over 200000 and less than 300000.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
