Provided is an efficient method for producing fluorine-containing compounds that does not require extractive distillation or a rectification column having a high plate number. A method for producing fluorine-containing compounds including a step for feeding, to a dehydrohalogenation step, a composition including at least one type of mixture that is a mixture of at least one fluoroolefin and at least one hydrofluorocarbon, the mixture being selected from the group consisting of a mixture close to the boiling point thereof, an azeotropic mixture thereof, and a near-azeotropic compound thereof. |
