<p>In a method for obtaining a casting mould, support members (6) are applied on mould ties (5). The support members (6) are intended to define the position of at least one side of the mould. The support member (6) is forcefully applied sidewardly on the unprepared mould ties (5) so that the support members, thanks to choice of their material as relatively hard compared with the material of the mould ties and/or resilient, will cut into and/or clamp against the mould ties with portions, which, when the support members are applied on the mould ties, are separated and located at opposite sides of the mould ties, and thereby create such a connection between the support members and the mould ties which presents a high resisting force against relative displacement of the support members and the mould ties along the latter. Moreover, the invention is related to a mould device, support members for application on mould ties and a tool for carrying out application of the support members.</p> |
