PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape steel rim section buff and a buffing device that can increase the number of workpieces that one set of buff materials can grind, can shorten buffing time, and can reduce buff replacement loss. SOLUTION: The shape steel rim section buff 10 has a radial arrangement, which is bonded to a core bar 15, of abrasive paper 14 having the same shape as a rim section of a buffed shape steel wheel rim 11 with respect to a drop portion 12 and sidewall portions 13 of the rim section. The buffing device 20 comprises the buff 10, a spindle 21 mounted with the shape steel rim section buff, a cylinder 22 for pressing the buff 10 against the rim 11, and a motor 23 for rotativeiy driving the buff 10 in the opposite direction to the direction rotation of a buffed rotary trimmer 30. |
