PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow fiber membrane module requiring no containing in a housing nor attachment of a head, and its production method. SOLUTION: End parts of multiple hollow fiber membranes are bundled, to form a hollow fiber membrane bundle with inside of the hollow part opened at the end face of the bundled part. In a casing provided with a first opening for a passage passing through the inside of the hollow part, and a second opening for a passage passing through the outer part of the hollow fiber membrane, the hollow fiber membrane bundle is contained, a liquid adhesive is injected from the bundled part of the hollow fiber membrane bundle, and the hollow fiber membrane bundle is sealedly fixed in the casing by curing the liquid adhesive, to prevent flowing-out of the liquid adhesive to the opening end face side of the hollow fiber membrane by the bundled part.
