PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball collector convenient for carrying without the need to attach it to a golf club. SOLUTION: A ball retaining part 10 comprises a hemispherical cup with an upward opening and an inserting hole 10a through which a ball can be inserted is formed by obliquely cutting off the lower part of the ball retaining part 10. A flexibly structured flexible support part 15 is fixed to a support shaft 13 and an elastic member 11 is fixed to the periphery part of the ball retaining part 10 so as to face the inserting hole 10a. When a ball is positioned in the ball retaining part 10 by inserting the ball from the lower side of the inerting hall 10a, the elastic member 11 is folded to press the ball to retain the ball in the ball retaining part 10.
