The controller has a housing (10) provided with a printed circuit board (11), and a control unit comprising an electrically conductive connection unit (21) that is electrically clamped between a contact surface of the board and a cover plate (24), where the connection unit is made up of a plastic material e.g. silicone. The housing has a retaining channel (20) for supporting and positioning the connection unit, where the channel runs between the board and the plate. A set of retainers is provided at a side wall of the housing for an enclosure surface of the connection unit.
