PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To widen the margin of the correction operation to the mobility of a drive transistor in a pixel circuit that includes light-emitting elements. SOLUTION: The pixel circuit 2 is provided with transistors Tr2 and Tr3 as correction means for correcting the input voltage Vgs sampled to a pixel capacitor Cs, in order to cancel the dependence of the output current of the drive transistor Trd on the carrier mobility. The correction means operates according to the control signal supplied from scanning lines AZ1, AZ2, extracts the output current from the drive transistor Trd and inpours the current into the capacitor Coled possessed by the light-emitting element El and the pixel capacitor Cs to correct the input voltage Vgs. The means is provided with an additional capacitor Csub to be added to the light-emitting element capacitor Coled and passes a part of the output current of the drive transistor Trd to the additional capacitor Csub, as well, thereby giving margin of time to the operation of the correction means.
