PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide photographic sensitive material which excels in color developing property and in light fastness of a formed dye image, ensures little variation of photographic performance even in rapid processing, and gives a good white background. SOLUTION: The silver halide photographic sensitive material has photographic constituent layers including blue-, green- and red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers on a support, and contains at least a dye forming coupler represented by formula (1) and a compound represented by formula (A), R<SB>1a</SB>-CO-NH-SO<SB>2</SB>-R<SB>2a</SB>, in one and the same layer.
