PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyurethane elastomer composition for a printing roll which has both solvent resistance and water resistance, and to provide a printing roll using the same.SOLUTION: A polyurethane elastomer composition is obtained from an isocyanate (A) and a polyester polyol (B) synthesized by using a 2-40C diol (b1) and a dimer acid and/or a hydrogenated dimer acid (b2). The polyurethane elastomer has a SP (solubility parameter) value calculated by the expression [1] based on Fedors method of 9.0-9.5. In the expression [1] :δ=(&Sgr;Ecoh/&Sgr;V), δ represents sp value [(cal/cm)], Ecoh represents cohesive energy (cal/mol), and V represents molar volume [cm/mol]. |
