The present invention concerns the use of Adenylate cyclase toxin (ACT) or a functionally equivalent variant of the same, as an inducing agent for the internalization of non-invasive bacteria in eukaryote cells. The effect of the ACT is that said non-invasive bacteria can move through the plasmatic membrane of a eukaryote cell and transfer plasmidic DNA to said cell, which is useful for releasing or introducing therapeutically beneficial molecules (for example, antigens) in the interior of eukaryote cells, thereby triggering an immune response.
