PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an action member to accurately act on an article on the side of a processing apparatus even if a level to which a carrier lifts the article is varied.SOLUTION: Articles are transferred between an article processing apparatus and carrier. The carrier includes a lifter that lifts an article to a level higher than a transfer level while supporting the center of the article and that descends from the level higher than the transfer level while supporting the center of the article. The processing apparatus includes a support member that supports both ends of an article at the transfer level, and can freely advance to or recede from a position at which the support member supports the article, and a position at which the support member does not support the article, a driver unit that causes the support member to advance or recede, and an action member that is separated from the support member and acts on the article supported by the support member. |
