PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: sodium salts of (S)-2-(Diphenylacetyl)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-6-methoxy-5-(phenylmethoxy)-3-isoquinoline carboxylic acid in substantially pure form, which is an angiotensin II type 2 (AT) receptor antagonist; and solvates thereof.SOLUTION: This invention relates to: sodium salts of (S)-2-(Diphenylacetyl)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-6-methoxy-5-(phenylmethoxy)-3-isoquinoline carboxylic acid, which are in amorphous form, are in the form of a crystalline solvate, and are shown as a compound 4, wherein the solvate is an ethanol solvate, iso-propanol solvate, or hydrate having about 2 to about 5 water molecules; and solvates thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
