A scroll compressor is configured so that a stationary scroll (14) and an orbiting scroll (15), which are paired and which have spiral wraps (14B, 15B) raised from end plates (14A, 15A), are engaged with each other so that the spiral wraps (14B, 15B) face each other, and the orbiting scroll (15) is driven in a revolving and orbiting manner about the stationary scroll (14) to form two suction volumes (16A, 16B). One suction volume (16A) of the two suction volumes (16A, 16B), which is formed closer to a suction port provided in a housing, is set to be greater than the other suction volume (16B).
