PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step device for a vehicle which hardly becomes an obstacle to a travel or be broken when interfered with an obstacle on a road surface during a travel of the vehicle, and which allows a crew member to get on/off the vehicle without losing balance.SOLUTION: A pair of front and back flexible suspension plates 2F, 2B are supported to a vehicle body side and extending downward. A step plate 3 is provided with a front end part 3f and a back end part 3b supported by the front and back flexible suspension plates 2F, 2B, and is suspended from the vehicle body side by the front and back flexible suspension plates 2F, 2B. The front and back flexible suspension plates 2F, 2B are supported to the vehicle body side in a posture where a distance between both plates in the front/back directions becomes smaller toward inside the vehicle width directions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
